Late/Early Archiving

This is what we call imaging or inbound archiving... The goal here is to accelerate and minimize the risk of error while entering data into SAP while at the same time partly automating the process and workflow.

The process is as follows: paper documents come in > get barcoded > get scanned > and are then assigned to a business document, if  a clerk then whishes to proceed with this document, he or she then simply scans the barcode intp SAP to access the business document at which time the electronic document version is presented to the user.
